Whiff of Joy challenge & tutorial

Oggi doppio appuntamento Whiff of Joy..... challenge e tutorial.

Per il challenge vi propongo un segnaporta, questo è il tema della settimana.

Nel tutorial per il blog Whiff of Joy Inspirational  vi spiego come realizzare questi carinissimi fiori in stoffa. Quindi se siete curiose andate qui e godetevi questo tutorial, spero vi piaccia.

Today double date with Whiff of Joy ....  challenge & tutorial.

For the challenge I propose you a door hanger , this is the theme of the week.

Il segnaporta è realizzato su una base di cartoncino spesso, rivestito con carte October Afternoon e Cosmo Cricket.

Il timbro Whiff of Joy  fa pare del kit di luglio.

The door hanger is realized on a base of heavy cardstock covered with October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket papers.

The Whiff of Joy stamp is from July kit.

Sulla parte superiore ho realizzato con la Nestabilities tonda e tonda scallopata un foro che serve per appendere il segnaporta alla maniglia. Visto che si tratta del segnaporta per la mia craft room, con due linguette nella parte bassa segnalo la mia assenza o presenza nella stanza.

Su questo sto preparando un tutorial.

On the top I realized with a circle and scallop circle Nestabilities  a hole which serves to hang the door hanger on the handle. Cause it is the door hanger for my craft room, on the bottom  I indicate if I am there or not.

I am preparing a tutorial for it.

Per la scritta sulle linguette ho usato un timbro Florileges, per la scritta "my craft room" ho invece usato un alfabeto sticker della Cosmo Cricket. Tutto intorno una finta cucitura.

For the sentiment on the reed I used Floriliges stamp, for the sentiment "my craft room" I used a Cosmo Cricket sticker alphabet. All around a false stich.

Che ne dite?? Vi fa venire voglia di creare nonostante il caldo?? Spero di si!!

Anche per la card che vi presento oggi ho usato uno dei timbri Whiff of Joy "City girl II.

E' una card per una laurea e la Graduation Willow è adatta all'occasione.

Also for the card I will introduce you today, I used a beautiful Whiff of Joy stamp from City girl II collection.

It is a graduation card and Graduation Willow is perfect for the occasion.

Ho scelto un formato più piccolo di quello che uso di solito e le carte (Stampin Up e Sassafrass) riprendono i colori dell'immagine.

Gli abbellimenti sono un nastro arricciato (Stampin Up) e un bottone (Basic Grey) legato con un cordino.

The papers (Stampin Up & Sassfrass) take the colors of the image.

The embellishment are a curly ribbon (Stampin Up) and a button (Basic Grey) with a twine.

Ancora una card con i bellissimi timbri Whiff of Joy della collezione City Girl II.

Mi è stata commissionata per una laurea e questo timbro che si chiama "Graduation Oakley" è proprio adatta. L'ho colorata con i Distress Reinkers.

Another card with the beautiful Whiff of Joy stamps from City Girl II collection.

It has commitioned to me for a graduation party and this stamp called "Graduation Oakley" is just fine. I colored it with Distress Reinkers.

Le bellissime carte sono della October Afternoon - collezione Thirft Shop e della K & Company.

The beautiful papers are October Afternoon from Thirft Shop collection and K & Company.

Essendo una card maschile non potevo divertirmi con gli abbellimenti e allora ho realizzato una nappina nera con un filo da ricamo.

While it's a male card, I couldn't make many embellishments, so, whit a black cord,  I created a little tassel like a graduationa hat.

E' una card portasoldi e quindi all'interno ho applicato una bustina tagliata con una Dies della Sizzix.

It's a money holder card, so, on the inside I added a little bag cut with a Sizzix Dies.

Sul retro come sempre, sopratutto per i pezzi che vendo, la mia firma ^_^

TIMBROSCRAPMANIA DT CHALLENGE

Buon Sabato a tutti!!!!

Immagino che siate tutti al mare... o in montagna.... o al lago.... o in relax LOL

Oggi non posso andare al mare (singh) e visto che starò a casa mi occuperò del bucato da stirare....... ho un bel po di arretrato LOL

Cosa dite mi servirà  a bruciare qualche caloria???

Comunque prima di mettermi al lavoro, vi ricordo che oggi c'è il challenge di TIMBROSCRAPMANIA che in vista delle vacanze durerà per tutto il mese di Agosto.

Per la mia card ho scelto Flower girl Tilda della Magnolia, collezione Wedding.

L'ho colorata con i Distress Reinkers, questa è la lista dei colori che ho usato.....

For my card I chose Flower girl Tilda,  Wedding collection from Magnolia.

I colored it with Distress Reinkers. This is the list of colors I used......

Pelle/Skin - Tattered Rose; Tea Dye;  a little bit of Aged Mahogany

Capelli/Hair - Brushed Corduroy; Vintage Photo

Vestito/Dress - Tumbled Glass; Stormy Sky; Chipped Shappire

Scarpe/Shoes - Brushed Corduroy; Valnut Stain

Cestino/Basket - Brushed Corduroy/ Vintage Photo

Fiori/Flowers - Spun Sugar; Victorian Velvet; a little bit of Aged Mahogany

Le carte Basic Grey (marrone) e October Afternoon (rosa) e i cartoncini Bazzil (kraft e vanilla) sono distressati, prima con il distress tool e poi con il Valnut Stain Distress Ink.

Basic Grey (Chocolate) and October Afternoon (Pink) papers and the Bazzil cardstock (Kraft & Vanilla) are distressed, first with distress tool and then with Valnut Stain Ink.

I fiori sono composti ognuno da una rosellina e da un fiore a 5 petali, ho anche aggiunto un tocco di glitter Stickles e alcuni laccetti di spago.

Every flowers is composed with a little rose and a 5 petals flower,  I  added a glitter touch with Stickles and also some pieces of twine.

Con il Chesnut Roan ho stampato la swirl Inkadinkado, ed ho aggiunto una piccola brad luminosa della Heidi Swapp.

La scritta (Stampin Up) è stampata sul Bazzil kraf sporcato con il Valnut Stain Distress.

I stamped the Inkadinkado swirl  with Chesnut Roan and then I added a little sparkling brad by Heidi Swapp.

The sentiment (Stampin Up) is stamped on Kraft Bazzil sponged with Valnut Stain Distress.

Mi auguro che questo lavoro vi piaccia e che troviate il tempo di farci vedere i vostri bei lavori.

Il tema del challenge #84 della Whiff of Joy è FUZZ

.......... cioè dovete realizzare un progetto con qualcosa di lanuginoso, peloso, potete usare per esempio feltro, fun flock, soft flower, nastri o cordini pelosi ecc..

Io ho usato i fun flock (con un pizzico di glitter) per dare l'idea della schiuma delle onde.

Ora chiariamo una cosa, cos'è uno store kit?

E' un kit bimestrale di timbri Whiff of Joy che trovate in vendita solo negli store autorizzati, l'elenco lo trovate qui.

This is a beautiful Whiff of Joy stamp from July store kit and I colored it with my fabulous Copic (how much I missed them!!).

What is a store kit?

It's a bi-monthly kit of Whiff of Joy stamps that you can find only on same stores, you can find the list here.

La sabbia sullo sfondo è disegnata con i Copic, mentre per le nuole ho usato un timbro Hero Arts.

For the background  I used the Copic for the sand and a Hero Arts stamp for the clouds.

Cosa mi dite del granchio e delle stelline??? Deliziosi vero?

Le stelline fanno ancora parte dello store kit di Luglio, mentre il granchio fa parte del kit bimestrale di Giugno,  in vendita direttamente sullo shop Whiff of Joy.

Un cordino peloso e un ciondolino (Stamperia) completano questa card estiva.

Questa scritta alla quale ho aggiunto una stellina fa ancora parte dello store kit di Luglio.

Starfish are from store kit.Tthe grab is from June kit, you can find it on Whiff of Joy shop.

A rustic twine and a charm (Stamperia) complete this Summer card.

Whiff of Joy DT meets SAM challenge

Sono già passate due settimane ed è di nuovo tempo di challenge.

Il tema del challenge della Stampavie & More  è una combinazione di colori:

Bianco Nero più un colore a scelta.

Io ho scelto il rosa.

Two weeks passed and it is time for challenge again.

Stampavie & More challenge of this week is a color combo:

Black White and another color.

I chose the Pink.

Per realizzare questa card ho utilizzato uno dei timbri Whiff  of Joy della recente collezione City of Girl II del mio pacchetto DT..........grazie  mille Katharina!!!!!!!!

In realtà i timbri sono due, Willow with coffee to go and Handsome Oakley.

Sono stampati su cartoncino per acquarello e colorati con i Distress Reinkers.

To realize this card I used a Whiff of Joy stamps from the new City of Girl II collection of my DT package......... thanks a lot Katharina.

Actually the stamps are two, Willow with coffee to go and Handsome Oakley.

They are stamped on a cradstock for aquapaint and colored with Distress Reinkers.

 

Le carte usate sono Basic Grey e Toga. Per i ticket ho usato timbri Hero Arts e Inkadinkado.

Il nastro (Stampin Up) impreziosisce questa card che trovo molto fashion...LOL

TIMBROSCRAPMANIA DT CHALLENGE

Ciao ciao!

Via avevo promesso che sarei tornata presto, ma non presto come avrei voluto ^_^

Prima di tutto... HO FAME!!!

Si , devo dirvi che stare a dieta non è proprio facilissimo, almeno non per me. Comunque tanta fatica sta dando i suoi frutti, da quando ho iniziato, circa tre settimane fa, ho perso 5,5 kg.

 HURRA per me!!

Quello che mi manca però è di fare un po' di moto, ma fa trooooppo caldo. Ho anche pensato di comprarmi una cyclette, ma poi ho pensato... la userei?? Qualcuna di voi ha un consiglio da darmi???

Passando ad altro, oggi voglio mostrarvi il lavoro che ho realizzato per il challenge di TSM.

Questa volta il tema l'ho scelto io ed è: Love is.

Yes, I have to say you that to be on a diet is not easy at all, at last for me. Anyway all this bad work is giving good results: from the beginning, more or less two weeks ago, I lose 5,5 kg!

What I miss is doing gym, but is tooo hot for me! I also thought to buy myself a cyclette, but then I thought... I will use it? Anyone of you have some suggestion for me?

Talking about something else, today I want to show you the work I made for TSM challenge.

This time it was myself to chose the theme: Love is.

E' un tema ad ampio respiro che consente grande libertà, quindi dateci sotto!!

Ho realizzato questa pagina scrap con una foto che amo particolarmente, era da tempo che aspettavo l'occasione giusta....... ed eccola!!!

Ho utilizzato un cartoncino avorio e le carte sono DCWV collezione Luxury, ricche e preziose con colori fantastici, ho scelto due stampe rosa e due verdi.

It is a theme which consent you great freedom, so work it out!

I realized this scrap page, with a picture I adore particularly, there was so much of time I was waiting for the right occasion....... and here it is!!!

I used an Ivory cardstock and the papers are DCWV from Luxury collection, these papers are precious and rich with fabulous colors, I chose two patterned pink and two green too.

Mi sono divertita molto con lo stamping che adoro anche quando scrappo!!

Questo meraviglioso timbro della Magnolia fa parte della collezione Wedding, mentre lo steccato dietro è della collezione pasquale  e sono colorati con i Distress Reinkers. 

I had a lot of fun with the stamping which I love also when I make scrapbooking!

The beautiful Magnolia's stamp is from Wedding collection, while the fence in the background is from Easter collection. I colored them with Distress Reinkers. 

 Questi fiori deliziosi sono Prima Marketing, li ho arricchiti con bottoni e foglioline di diversi colori.

These sweet flowers are Prima Marketing and I embellished them with buttons and leafs of different colors.

Il meraviglioso uccellino sul ramo è un timbro di Tim Holtz (uomo geniale!!!!!) è stampato in verde scuro (Stampin Up) e ritagliato.

Il timbro usato per creare lo sfondo è della Magnolia, collezione Wedding, è un motivo damasco che adoro e che si presta benissimo a creare sfondi molto belli con pochissimo lavoro.

The amazing bird on the branch is Tim Holtz stamp (genial man!!!!) it's stamped with Always Artichoke (Stampin Up) and  cut.

I created the background with a Magnolia's stamp from Wedding collection again, it's a stamp that I love because it allows you to create beautiful background with very little work.

In questa pagina scrap ho ridotto ai minimi termini il journaling, limitandomi a scrivere in una piccola tag (Toga) i dati essenziali, infatti, per quanto mi riguarda, lo sguardo di mio papà e mia mamma, parla da solo.

In this scrap page there is a very little journaling (a little Toga tag), because I think that the look who share my dad and my mom, says everything  there is to say.

Sopra il meraviglioso pizzo originale Valencienne (per una pagina preziosa, un pizzo prezioso) ho adagiato questa magnifica tag per la quale ho usato un timbro Making Memories collezione Love Struck.

On the original beautiful Valencienne lace, I put this cute tag, it's a Making Memories  from Struck collection.

Eccomi di nuovo qui! Sono talmente tante le cose che vorrei dirvi che faccio fatica a metterle in ordine!!!

Per prima cosa vorrei ringraziare tutte per avermi sostenuto in questo periodo,  le vostre mail, i vostri commenti e anche i pensieri positivi, sono tutti arrivati a destinazione......

Questo periodo di inattività mi è servito anche per prendere alcune decisioni e fare qualche cambiamento.

Il cambiamento più grosso che ho deciso di fare è quello di provare a dimagrire...........

che il Signore mi assista, e voi sarete le testimoni di questo cambiamento con tanto di annotazione peso........però mi dovete aiutare!!!

Ho anche preso la decisione di mettere in vendita le mie crezioni, ho ricevuto diverse richieste in tal senso e dopo averci pensato un po', mi sono detta perchè no???

Sto organizzandomi in tal senso, ma per il momento chi fosse interessato o volesse informazioni mi contatti senza problemi via mail.

Che ne dite, per oggi le novità possono bastare?? Ce ne sono anche altre, ma non vi voglio subissare.

There are so many things I would tell you that I can't count them!!!

First of all I would like to thank you all for your support in this period, your mails, your comments and also your positive thoughts, they all arrived at destination.....

THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.

This period of inactivity was good for me also to take decisions and make some changes.

The most big change I would make is: lose weight.....maybe God will help me and you will be my witness in this changing, also with transcription of weight...but you have to help me!!

I also took the decision to sell my creations, I received many requests for that so i thought...why not??

I am organizing for that but if anyone is interested, please contact me by mail. What do you think, for today the news could be enough??

Ero indecisa se scrivere questo post oppure no, come avrete notato non parlo spesso della mia vita privata all'interno di questo blog, che nasce per condividere le mie passioni.

Ora però penso di voler condividere con voi questa parte della mia vita.

Come avrete notato ho rallentato parecchio le pubblicazioni e con esse anche tutte le attività collegate..... visite e commenti vari.

Questo perchè sono settimane molto dense di pensieri, azioni e cambiamenti che riguardano la sfera strettamente privata ma anche quella lavorativa.

Ho dovuto/voluto prendere delle decisioni che cambieranno, spero in meglio, la mia vita o almeno una parte di essa. Ho deciso che devo essere io la prima a prendermi cura di me stessa, gli altri per quanto ti amino non possono andare dal dottore al posto tuo.

Ho deciso di afforntare delle cose che fanno paura e di fronte alle quali ho messo per un po la testo sotto la sabbia, ma solo per un po. Ora ho deciso che sono pronta ad affrontare tutto più forte e più ottimista che mai. 

Ho deciso di lascire una strada sicura per fare un salto nel buio, ma voglio credere che investendo su me stessa e sulle mie capacità questo salto nel buio si trasformerà in un bel viaggio.

Ho deciso di condividere tutti questi pensieri con voi, prima di tutto perchè sono convinta che le creative abbiano una sensibilità superiore, ma anche perchè ho bisogno del sostengo dei vostri pensieri positivi.

Ho anche bisogno di un po di tempo per me e questo vorrà dire trascurare questo blog ancora per un pochino di tempo, spero che nel frattempo continuerete a volermi bene, come io ne voglio a voi

I was undecided whether to write this post or not, as you may have noticed I do not speak often of my private life in this blog created to share my passions.

But now I want to share  with you this part of my life.

As you noticed I slowed down a lot of publications and they also all related activities, visit to blog and comments.

This happens because they are weeks full of thoughts, actions and changes relating to both my private life and working.

I had and wanted to make decisions that will change, hopefully, my life or part of it.

I decided that I must be first to take care of myself, the others as love you canno't go to the doctor for you.

I decided to tackle things that are a bit afraid, and before which I hid for a while, but only for a while.

I decided that I'm ready to face all stronger and more confident than ever.

I decided to leave a safe way to make a leap in the dark, but I believe that investing in myself and my abilities, this leap in the dark will turn into a wonderful trip.

I decided to share these thoughts with you, first of all because I am convinced that creatives have a higher sensitivity, but also because I need the support of your positive thoughts.

I also need some time for me and this will mean neglect this blog again for a bit of time, I hope that in meantime you continue to love me as I want to you.

I timbri che ho usato fanno parte della collezione Get Well.

Ho colorato con i Distress Reinkers con colori vivaci e poi ho usato delle carte che avessero gli stessi colori.

The stamps I used are from Whiff of Joy Get Well collection.

I colored with Distress Reinkers using bright colors and then I used papers with the same colors.

Sotto le fasce diagonali arancio ho messo un bordo realizzato con una border punch della EK Success.

Per arricchire i fiori ho incollato le roselline su un fiore tagliato con la retro flower punch della EK.

Below the orange diagonal stripes I put an edge realized with EK border punch.

To enrich the flowers I stick the little roses on  a flower cut with a EK retro flower punch.
