La Whiff of Joy presenta
Happy Mail la nuova collezione disegnata dalla bravissima Alison Acton.
Sarà disponibile al pubblico a partire dal 9 Gennaio. Vi assicuro che si tratta di una collezione davvero deliziosa e nei prossimi giorni vi mostrerò degli altri lavori con questi nuovissimi timbri.

Intanto vi mostro questa card che ho realizzato con questo dolcissimo timbro. L'ho colorato con i Copic e poi ho stampato la scritta con l'aiuto del posizionatore per timbri (Stamp-a-ma-jig). Le scritte fanno parte anche loro di questa nuova collezione.

Tutorial per Whiff of Joy Inspirational blog

Hi everybody,

my name is Giò and I am so happy and proud to be GD for December and January.

Today I introduce you a tutorial to make felt flowers, so easy but with a great impact.

This is the list for the material you need.

Big Shot or another cut machine

Blossom Nestabilities

White felt

Distress Ink pad - two light and two dark

Blending tool or sponge

Rhinestone adhesive

Diamond Glaze or other adhesive

Scissor

Cut the felt using the Big Shot or another cut machine.

With blending tool or a sponge color softly the flowers with the ligh Distress Ink.

With blending tool or a sponge again, give some touches of dark Distress Ink on the edges of the flowers.

With a scissor make some cut wich divide all petals, but pay attention to leave intact the centre.

With a drop of glue in the centre of the flowers give it a closer shape, don't worry if some petals superimpose.

As last step stich a rhinestone on the centre of the flowers, it will give a touch of light.

Whiff of Joy DT meet Mojo Monday

Per questa card ho seguito lo sketch proposto dal blog Mojo Monday questo lunedì.

For this card I followed the Mojo Monday sketch.



Ho usato un bellissimo timbro della Whiff of Joy che fa parte della collezione Henry the Mouse disegnata da Alison Acton e l'ho colorato con i Copic Sketch Markers.
Per gli abbellimenti ho utilizzato dei fiori di feltro fatti da me e delle foglioline tagliate con una punch della Martha Stewart.

I used a beautiful Whiff of Joy stamp from Henry the Mouse collection by Alison Acton and I colored it with Copic Sketch Markers.
As embellishment I used some felt flowers that I made by myself and some leafs cut with a MS punch.





Questa card è l'ultima per quest'anno ed è pensata e dedicata a tutte le persone che hanno avuto la voglia di leggermi. Grazie di cuore per il tempo che mi avete dedicato e soprattutto

Whiff of Joy DT

Questa è la mia prima card come GD della Whiff of Joy ..... che dire se non che sono felicissima per questa opportunità e che sono molto orgogliosa di poter collaborare con questo splendido DT.
Inizio in ritardo questa collaborazione, ma sono pronta a tornare all'opera e recuperare il tempo perduto.
Oggi è arrivato il mio pacchetto DT!!!!!!!!!!
Dentro c'erano sei meravigliosi timbri e due confezioni di charms..... grazie e milleeeeee Katharina!!

This is my first card as Whiff of Joy GD...... I'm really happy for this opportunity and I'm so proud to contribute with this wonderful DT.
This collaboration starts in late, but I'm ready to get on with in and ricuperare the lost time.
My DT package is arrived today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are six beautiful stamps and two packages of charms..... thanks sooooo much Katharina!!!!!!!!



Il timbro che ho scelto è Henry Mouse with large teacup by A. Acton. L'ho colorato con i pastelli acquarellabili e l'ho sfumato sui bordi con il Walnut Stain dei Distress Ink.
Lo stesso colore l'ho sfumato anche su tutti i bordi delle carte che, fanno parte della collezione Eskimo Kisses della Basic Grey.
Anche la scritta è della Whiff of Joy.

The stamp I chose is Henry Mouse with large teacup by A. Acton. I colored it with watercolour pastels and I colored the edges with Walnut Stain by Distress Ink.
I used the same color in all the edges of the papers, they are Eskimo Kisses collection by Basic Grey. The sentiment too is from Whiff of Joy.

Non è una delizia questo timbro??? Naturalmente è della Whiff of Joy e fa parte della collezione disegnata da Alison Acton. L'ho colorata con i miei meravigliosi Copic Sketch e come sempre trovate l'elenco qui sotto. Il ciondolo a forma di chiave è della Whiff of Joy e fa parte di una nuova e bellissima collezione di charms in metallo.
Un nastrino a quadretti e una scritta della PapertreyInk completano l'insieme.

Is not this stamp delicious??? Naturally is Whiff of Joy one and it is from the collection draw by Alison Acton. I colored it with my fabulous Copic Sketch and, as usuas you find the list below.
The key charm is WOJ from a beautiful collection of metal charms.
The gingham ribbon and a sentiment from PapertreyInk complete the work.

Orecchini per un'amica speciale

Finalmente riesco a postare questo lavoro che ho fatto qualche tempo fà. E' stato il regalo di compleanno per una cara amica.

Finally I post this work that I made some time ago.
It was a birthday gift for a special friend.



Gli orecchini sono realizzati con pietre in pasta di corallo e pasta di turchese. La catenella e tutti gli altri componenti sono in argento.

I made this earrings with chalk coral and chalk turquoise pearls.
The chain and the other elements are in Silver.



La scatolina che contiene questi gioiellini è realizzata in cartoncino doppio (in modo che abbia maggiore sostegno) e decorata con alcuni timbri che arricchiscono l'effetto.

The box is made with double cardstock and I stamped it to embellish the effect.

Just Magnolia Challenge - It's Christmas!!!

Questa è la card che ho preparato per il Just Magnolia Challenge di questa settimana. Il tema è quello della card natalizia e ho scelto due colori classici per il Natale : Rosso & Blu.

This is the card I made for Just Magnolia Challenge of this week. The main theme is the Christmas card and I chose two typical Christmas colors : Red & Blue.



Questa Tilda tenerissima l'ho comprato nello shop online TIMBROSCRAPMANIA e ho preferito colorarla con i pastelli acquarellabili per mantenere questa dolcezza.
Lo sketch è semplice ma d'effetto e lo smerlo fatto con la MS Doily Lace arricchisce tanto.
Il nastro rosso con le cuciture bianche è della PapertreyInk e richiama lo stesso colore degli strass.
La scritta stampata in nero è lo stesso della PapertreyInk.

This Tilda is really sweet, I bought it on TIMBROSCRAPMANIA and I prefered to color it with watercolour pastels to get on with this sweet.
The sketch is simply but of effect, and the side made with MS Dolily Lace embellish really much.
The Red ribbon with White stitching is from PapertreyInk and recall the same color of the rhinestones.
The sentiment is stamped in black and is from PapertreyInk too.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #59

Questa settimana per il challenge della WOJ abbiamo un tema che mi piace proprio tanto:
SPARKLE
Ossia realizziamo una card o un altro progetto con qualcosa che luccica.

This week for WOJ challenge there is a theme I like it really really much:
SPARKLE
We realize a card or another project with something sparkling.



Ho usato il bellissimo timbro Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble naturalmente della WOJ. Per colorarlo ho usato i pastelli acquarellabili (Stampin Up) ed ho aggiunto alcuni tocchi d'argento e glitter. Tanti bottoni di diverse misure (PaperTreyInk) riprendono l'idea delle palle di Natale. Il sentiment (PaperTreyInk) l'ho ritagliato seguendo il contorno e la stessa cosa l'ho fatta con la mattatura.

I used beautiful Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble stamp obviously from WOJ. To color it I used watercolor pastels (Stampin Up) and I add some touches of silver and glitter.
Many buttons of differents sizes (PaperTreyInk) take the idea of Christmas balls.
I cut the sentiment (Paper Ink) following the surround and I did the same thing for the matting.

Whiff of Joy Challenge # 58 - Marga's sketch

Mi dispiace......sono in ritardo, ma in questi giorni sono stata un'infermiera piuttosto che una cardmaker.
Da queste parti l'influenza sta facendo grandi numeri.
Eleonora ha la febbre alta da due giorni, Alice non ha la febbre ma un grande mal di gola e nonostante non siano più bimbe quando stanno male hanno bisogno della loro mamma ...... coccole incluse.
Comunque, metto da parte termometro e coccole almeno il tempo di fare questo post.
Questa settimana per il Challenge della Whiff of Joy abbiamo un fantastico sketch proposto dalla nostra bravissima Marga.

I'm sorry....I'm in late but, in these days, I was more a nurse than a cardmaker.
Here in Italy there is a great number of ill people.
Eleonora is been having fever for two days, Alice has not fever but she is not well anyway, and also if they are not little girls anymore they need their mom ..... hugs included.
Anyway I put away hugs and termometres for the time I need to make this post.
This week for the Whiff of Joy Challenge we have a beautiful sketch proposed by fabulous Marga.





Ho usato questa bellissima immagine WOJ scegliendo di colorarla con colori pastello, chiaramente la scelta della carta era obbligata e quindi un bel celeste ed un pizzico di rosa, uniti pero' ad un colore per niente caramelloso, il Kraft!!!
Che mi dite dell'abbinamento?
La scritta è della WOJ e fa parte del set Winter Love.

I used this beautiful WOJ image, choosing to color it with pastel colors, obviously the choice of papers was forced so a beautiful light blue and a bit of pink but mixed with a not sweet at all color, Kraft. What can you say about this color combo?
The sentiment is Whiff of Joy stamp from Winter Love set.

Stampavie & More GDT card

Bellissima sfida questa settimana per il challenge della Stampavie & More, infatti vi propongo il fantastico sketch di Grenade.
L'ho trovato veramente originale!!! Su questa forma rettangolare non ci lavoro spesso e quindi è stato tanto divertente cambiare un pò.

Amazing competition this week for Stampavie & More Challenge, so I propose you the fantastic sketch by Grenade.
I found it really original!!! I don't work usually on this shape, so it was funny to change a bit.





Ho colorato l'immagine, un bellissimo timbro della Stampavie, con i pastelli acquarellabili.
Le carte e i cardstock fanno parte dei nuovi In Colors della Stampin Up.
Lo sketch è molto ricco e quindi ho usato come abbellimenti solo un grande bottone e alcuni strass. Anche la scritta è Stampin Up.

I colored the image, a beautiful Stampavie stamp, with watercolour pastels.
The papers and cardstock are from new Stampin Up In Colors.
The sketch is very rich, so I used as embellishments only a big button and some rhinestones.
The sentiment too is from Stampin Up.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #57

Il tempo corre veloce ed è di nuovo Mercoledì, ma soprattutto ...... Natale si avvicina a grandi passi, quindi per il challenge Whiff of Joy di questa settimana realizziamo una card natalizia!!!!

Time goes fast and it's again Wednesday, but above all ...... Christmas is coming, so for this week Whiff of Joy Challenge we are realizing a Christmas card.



Ho voluto fare una card molto ricca di particolari, infatti ho scelto uno sketch che ricordasse un motivo patchwork, poi ho arricchito con glitter effetto neve e infine ho realizzato una stella di Natale seguendo questo fantastico tutorial.
E' facile da realizzare ma anche di grande effetto.
Il timbro fa parte della collezione invernale WOJ disegnata da Elizabeth Bell e l'ho colorato con i Copic Markers.

I wanted to make a very rich card with a lot of small details, infact I used a sketch which remember a patchwork style, then I embellished it with a "snow effect glitter" and at last I made a Christmas Star following this amazing tutorial.
It's easy to make but it also gives a great effect.
The stamp is from WOJ Winter's collection designed by Elizabeth Bell and I colored it with Copic Markers.
